Team 9.99 has launched several high altitude balloons for the purposes of testing our communications systems for use on an ongoing project, the rockoon.
This is a picture of our first high altitude balloon launch in 2011 from near the clock tower at the Esplanade in Christchurch NZ. The payload included radios, GPS, and a small hobby rocket.
